REIN® is based on the stunning Mid North Coast of NSW in Australia. In REIN®, Yasmin has created a brand that reflects one of her biggest desires - create beautiful quality products in Australia and bring our manufacturing back onshore. Unlike the majority of Australian brands, REIN® is not 'Australian Designed' and made overseas.
REIN® is wholly an Australian Woman Owned and Made small business.
As a small brand in its infancy, REIN® began with fully hand stitched products, which were laboriously time consuming to handcraft as Yasmin was determined to stay true to the traditional leathercrafting methods of Europe, but this approach left her unable to keep up with demand.
REIN® is still focussed on slow fashion in small batches, but Yasmin has now incorporated machines to speed up the process and increase production whilst maintaining the finish you expect of REIN® products.
Handcrafting and creating pieces that last may seem counterintuitive, but you will find that after your first purchase, you will be coming back to REIN® time and again.
Meet the Maker
Owner and craftswoman, Yasmin Boaz, comes from a long heritage of stockmen, equestrians and artisans - herself first in the saddle at two years of age, and to this day still rides her beautiful horses.
Yasmin learnt to sew at the age of seven (much to the detriment of her mother's fabric stash), with fashion design and pattern drafting among her many skills and talents.
Following in her grandfather's footsteps, Yasmin spent eight years making whips, canes and tack - her work highly sought after for the Australian and International Dressage and Showing scene.
2019 saw Yasmin pivot her attention back to her passion for fashion with her focus now firmly on creating beautiful leathergoods, accessories and clothing with REIN®.
Each REIN® piece has been crafted from the table up and reflects her desire to create beautiful pieces where only the highest quality elements are used, ensuring that your new purchase lasts a jolly long time.
REIN® Suppliers
Yasmin has spent years researching the very best to bring you a range of full grain leathers and hardware that is not only beautiful, but of the highest quality, with a selection of leathers used at REIN® 'gold rated' and sustainable.
REIN® does not use 'genuine leather' or 'vegan leather' as the quality is vastly inferior to full grain leather. A full description of everything she uses can be found on each item listing.
